House rules
Bajes belongs to everyone who comes here, and we’d like to keep it that way. That’s why we have a few agreements with each other. Thanks for taking a moment to read them, so together we can make it a great night or day.
Be you
Respect each other. Feel free to be who you are and let others be too. We do not tolerate any form of racism, sexism, homophobia and/or transphobia, any form of intimidation or harassment, or violence at our events. If we notice an issue like this, our staff will immediately remove the person(s) responsible.
Safe space
If you feel unsafe and/or uncomfortable with anything, please report it at the first aid post. They will link you up with our contact person. This is a safe space for everyone. Care about yourself and look after others.
No flash
Enjoy the moment. Filming and/or taking pictures with flash is not allowed. Please keep a limit on both. Our staff may warn you about excessive filming or photography. Be respectful and always think twice when filming others.
Anonymity
Anonymity is one of our key elements, but be aware that a professional camera crew shoots content at our events for marketing purposes. By visiting our events, you agree to these terms. If you find material of yourself online that you don’t want online, let us know at info@bajes.amsterdam.
DJ booth
Don’t hang over the booth with drinks or to film or take pictures (no flash), and don’t disturb the DJs while they are playing. Don’t place drinks on the DJ booth, to avoid gear malfunctioning.
Smoking
Smoking and vaping is not allowed inside, only in the designated smoking area.
Minimum age
The minimum age is 18, unless the event page says otherwise. Security will check IDs at the door. Without a valid ID we will not let you in. We do not check ticket names against IDs.
Drugs
Security will search you when you enter. Liquids aren’t allowed inside, and you can only bring 2 grams of marijuana (no pre-rolled joints). The possession and/or dealing of hard drugs is prohibited at our events and we will act on it. Please don’t drink or drug and drive.
Cameras
Professional cameras or other gear are not allowed in the venue. Only videos and photos with phones for personal use. No other high-end gear by third parties. If we see someone using anything other than a phone, we are authorized to remove you from the venue.
Medication
You can bring medicine when prescribed. We also have some painkillers at the paramedic post.
Flyering
Handing out or sticking promotional materials (samples, flyers, etc.) is not allowed without written permission.
Go with the flow
Follow instructions from the organization, security, the medical team and other parties involved in the event, both on and around the site. These decisions are always made with your safety and that of your fellow visitors as our priority.
Be responsible
Visitors enter the event at their own risk. The organization is not responsible for any physical or mental injuries resulting from attending the event.
Clothing
Visitors wearing soccer jerseys and/or clothing with nationalist symbols or expressions will be denied entry. This also applies to motorcycle clubs and other group attire. Clothing or accessories that emit light in any way are not allowed. Staff will take them from you and are authorized to remove you from the venue if it happens again.
Damages
Deliberate damage to the site, the building, its contents or individuals will be charged to the perpetrator.
Other prohibited items
You may not bring or have in your possession, for yourself or others, or use before or during an event: glassware, plastic bottles, (alcoholic) beverages, selfie sticks longer than 1.5 meters or any other non-intended structures, food, nitrous oxide (canisters), cans, fireworks, animals, weapons and/or dangerous objects (including, but not limited to, spray cans or CS gas). Confiscated items will not be returned.
What if
If the house rules do not cover a situation, the organization will make the decision.
Last but definitely not least
Enjoy to the absolute fullest.
